Oh, it is Love - February 14/08
On February 14th, a brave troupe ventured into the SUB - battling hordes of students and an unforgiving wind chill - to meet an even more formidable enemy inside:
Hours and hours of cheesy love melodies.
But all was not lost! With collars up over their ears and fierce determination burning in their eyes, they set themselves at the task at hand. And indeed, by the end of the day, all that was left of the carnage were sad empty silver buckets and a tub full of cash.
That brave troupe raised $106.15 that day, selling rose after rose like there was no tomorrow. Actually, it turned out there was a tomorrow, but if they were an eighth as awesome, who knows if the sun would’ve risen?
